Assignment 3B - Basic of Tweening and Easing

Please create the in-app tutorial on the Amusement Park Swing and post it to your blog as Assignment 3B.    When saving the project, do NOT share to social media if you want an animated GIF, as shown in the tutorial video, as the background will be white. Instead, do the following: Go to File -> Export -> Export Animated GIF Make sure "Selective" is checked in order to get the best color reproduction (it is located under "GIF" and above  "Transparency"), make sure "Transparency" is NOT checked, and that "Forever" is chosen in the "Looping" section.

Solving Adobe After Effects Issues

Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate both have their foibles and issues. Here are a couple of solutions to solve to of the most frustrating issues with After Effects: 1.)  After Effects won't render my animation. Solution - use Adobe Media Encoder https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/kb/export-h264.html 2.)  I can't play my rendered videos using Quicktime on my Mac computer with Catalina OS installed. Solution - download and use VLC https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html NOTE:  VLC also works on Windows machines.

Assignment 7 - Motion Path in After Effects

PART I:   Watch this Adobe tutorial on creating a motion path using Adobe After Effects and practice with the files provided during class:   Create a path Select a layer and use the Pen tool to create anchor points for a path. Click and drag to add anchor points and expose the handles. Move the handles to adjust the shape of the path. Use the path to create position keyframes Switch to the Select tool in the Toolbar. Select the layer which contains the path and press M to reveal the Mask Path property. Select the words Mask Path and then choose Edit > Copy to copy the path. Select the layer to which you want to apply the path and press P to reveal the Position parameter. Assignment 6 - After Effects Balloon Keyframe Project

 Please watch the embedded tutorial and create TWO (2) version of the Balloon Keyframe project (the tutorial is the third video): 1.) One version exactly as described in the tutorial: 2.) A second version where the balloon appears from different area offscreen (rather than rising from the bottom middle of the screen), continues across the screen, and floats offscreen to another point while expanding the duration of the animation from 5 seconds to about 10 seconds: In both versions, have the balloon follow a curved path, rather than a straight path (tutorial is below):

Assignment 4 - Asset Warp Tool

Follow the directions in the In-App Tutorial section of Adobe Animate and create an animated matchstick using the Asset Warp Tool.
